- Before installing the deep well pump, check whether the power supply voltage meets the specified use standards of the deep well pump, whether the water well depth and water well diameter meet the use conditions specified by the selected product, and whether the water quality is clear water. If the water quality is poor and contains particles and other debris, it cannot be used.
- The diameter of the deep well should be slightly larger than the outer diameter of the deep well pump unit. At the same time, the actual depth of the water well should be measured before installation to determine whether it meets the installation conditions of the deep well pump.
- Check whether the well platform is suitable for installing the manhole cover and whether it can bear the weight of the deep well pump unit and the matching outlet pipe.
- Check whether the deep well pump unit is well assembled. Remove the filter of the deep well pump before installation and check the rotation of the pump shaft of the deep well pump. If it is stuck, it is prohibited to use it.
- Use a multimeter to check whether the three-phase wires of the deep well pump are conductive and whether the DC resistance is approximately balanced.
- Connect the protection switch and control cabinet equipment. If it is high-power, you must use a soft-start and step-down control cabinet, then pour water into the pump from the water outlet of the deep well pump to lubricate the rubber bearings and skeleton oil seals in the deep well pump, and start it instantly (no more than 1 second!) to see if the direction is consistent with the direction sign. If it is the opposite, you can adjust any two of the three-phase power lines, put on the water filter and go down the well.
- Install the water pipe rubber pad to pad it correctly and tighten the bolts of the water pipe evenly.
- During installation, the cable and the water pipe should be tied with plastic tape or its waterproof rope on each section of the water pipe, but do not pull the cable too tight.
- After the deep well pump is installed, check the insulation resistance and the three-conductor connection from the switch in turn, then check the instrument and starting equipment, close the gate valve (leave a little gap), close the switch, start the motor, slowly open the gate valve, and adjust it until the ammeter indicates a rated current value of 90-100. Observe whether the instrument indication exceeds the nameplate specification, and check the power supply and operation status.
- After the deep well submersible pump has been running for four hours for the first time, stop the pump and quickly measure the thermal insulation resistance. It can only be put into operation when it is not less than 0.5 megohms.
- After stopping the pump, it should be restarted after an interval of 10 minutes. Frequent restarts are not allowed to avoid damage to the motor and pump parts.
- During use, regular inspections should be carried out. If the following phenomena are found, the pump should be stopped immediately and the fault should be eliminated before operation.
(1) The current increases to 120% of the rated current;
(2) Water flows out of the pump gap;
(3) The pump has severe vibration and noise;
(4) The voltage does not meet the requirements;
(5) The fuse is blown and the two-phase operation is carried out;
(6) The pipeline and gate valve are found to be damaged;
(7) When the thermal insulation resistance of the motor is less than 0.5 megohms.
- For deep well pumps that are packaged separately, remove the check valve body of the pump part during assembly, clean the stopper at the pump connection, align them, lay them flat, and then tighten the pump connection bolts. Then use a wooden hammer to hammer down on the upper end of the pump shaft until the pump shaft positioning hole is aligned with the coupling top screw hole, tighten the positioning screw on the coupling, install the retaining ring, and then use a screwdriver to pry the impeller. Check whether the pump shaft rotates flexibly and is not stuck before use.
- Deep well pumps should be taken out of the deep well for inspection once a year.
